A solid Savagnin. Not overly complex, but delivers exactly what you'd hope for from 3-4 years of biological ageing under voile. Expressive and straightforward in the best way. Nuts, sunflower seeds, fino, nectarine, a bit of smoke.
On the palate, it's driven by bright acidity and solid minerality, with a long, satisfying finish. Feels like a bit of a rock anthem---loud, clear, and direct. Fairly linear, but that's part of the charm. And the relatively low alcohol (for the style) is a nice bonus.
