Decent crémant. Pear drops on the nose, a touch of oxidation. Fresh and lively - the acidity is really well placed. Nothing complex, but well-made and easy to enjoy.
I really liked the still wines from this winery, so I was curious to try their Crémant. But this one feels a bit unsure of itself. Grapefruit zest, apple, freshly baked white bread - the aromatics are pleasant, and the structure is decent, but it leans too sweet for my taste. There's a faint hint of cider character, which I appreciate, but overall it's just not something I'm reaching for another glass of.
