A fairly simple but tasty Poulsard. Wild strawberry, earth, pencil lead, dried mushrooms, and a touch of tangerine on the nose. On the palate, it's light and juicy, though it would benefit from a bit more development---lighter tannins and higher acidity could lift it further. Still, it delivers pleasant notes of dark tea, dried mushrooms, earth, and fruit compote. Unpretentious, enjoyable, and easy to drink.
This Poulsard is quite charming despite a subtle and somewhat understated profile. The nose offers a delicate medley of wild strawberry, plum compote, earth, pencil lead, old tangerine, and dried mushrooms. On the palate, while it could benefit from higher acidity, it remains friendly and relatively juicy. The tannins are good, albeit slightly dry. Flauvors of dark tea, dried mushrooms, earth, and plum compote. Although not overly complex and with some structural issues, it's a pleasant wine suited to enjoy now rather than for long ageing.
