Join to read it and the restArtífice is the line Borja Pérez added in 2014 alongside Ignios Orígenes, his estate-fruit label, made from grapes bought from local growers with small old parcels across Ycoden-Daute-Isora; his US importers say it honours the clasped hands on the label, the grandfather's per Ungrafted Selections, the great-grandfather's per Bowler's sheet for the 2017. Borja Pérez's site is a placeholder and no producer sheet is published, so what is known of the Tinto comes from importers and merchants, and they do not agree. For the 2020, the WineWine sticker gives 100% Listán Negro, and the US retailer Cosecha Imports adds ungrafted old vines, native yeasts, a temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel with a long maceration, twelve months in third-year French oak and sulphur only at bottling, though the importer Ungrafted Selections says the cellar runs with no temperature control at all. Bowler's sheet for the 2017 also says 100% Listán Negro, vinified parcel by parcel in steel and concrete, then raised together in a large French foudre and one very old barrique, lightly clarified and unfiltered, while its own spec box lists Baboso. The 2021 at Pibernat and Mysa and the undated profile at Spanish Wine Lover instead describe a blend of Listán Negro with Baboso Negro and Vijariego Negro, about 10,000 bottles, with 20% of the elevage in concrete; either the make-up moves with the vintage or the merchants are loose with it, and Mysa's own text speaks of fifty-year-old Listán Negro under a three-grape spec box. The bottle was filled on 12 May 2022, some twenty months after a Tenerife harvest that the island press describes as picked about a month earlier than 2019 under drought, heat and increasingly frequent calima, with the fruit arriving very healthy, Viñátigo in La Guancha among those saying so. 12.5% on the label.
