Oh my! After a long day on the construction site, drinking this in a pool was pure bliss. The wine has proper edge to it - that beautiful tension Robinot does so well. Gorgeous grapefruit colour catches the light, then hits you with this charming bouquet: strawberry and barberry dancing with grapefruit pith, bakery warmth, scattered flowers, rhubarb tang, and just enough earth to ground it all. Not trying to be overly complex - it's too busy being delicious and seductive for that. Touch of sweetness, yes, but everything's balanced, fresh, and dangerously quaffable. This is exactly what natural wine should be: joyful, alive, and impossible to stop drinking.
Wow. It's like melted strawberry ice cream on a hot day. Guilty pleasure? I feel no guilt. Easily among my favourite rosé sparkling wines. It has a beautiful grapefruit colour and a charming bouquet of strawberry, barberry, grapefruit, bakery, flowers, and earth. Not overly complex, but incredibly charming, delicious, and seductive. A bit sweet, but well balanced, fresh, and quaffable. Wonderful wine.
