Liked the 2025 better - thinner, brighter, less round and muffled than this. The 2024 still shows the friendly perfume-leaning Sextet shape, just a step quieter than I want from it.
Petropol's six-grape white field blend - Chardonnay, Aligote, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Pinot Gris co-fermented as a sextet. The producer's flagship dry white. Around 12.3% ABV in this 2024 release. Aromatic, perfume-leaning, structurally driven by acidity rather than weight - the kind of wine the Bessarabian steppe rewards in its hotter sites: just enough fruit, just enough grip, easy company at the table.
