Very beautiful stuff. Black fruits and violets on the nose, with underripe black cherry adding tension. Despite the demi-sec label, it drinks properly dry - the residual sugar perfectly balanced by natural acidity. Juicy black fruit on the palate with warming spices, subtle smoke, and beautifully integrated oak that knows its place. The finish goes on and on, all dark fruit and spice. Not trying to be complex, just delicious and impeccably made. This Cab Sauv/Merlot blend (2021 + 2022) spent a year in oak, with partial wild fermentation giving it extra character. Artisanal Moldovan wine done right - manual work, minimal* intervention, maximum pleasure.
