Join to read it and the restBourgogne-tier red from old-vine, clay-limestone parcels just outside the Vosne-Romanée AOC line, treated with the house protocol - full destemming, cold pre-ferm soak, indigenous-yeast fermentation, fourteen to eighteen months in oak with around 20-25% new wood. 2016 was the catastrophic April-frost vintage across the Côte d'Or, with Côte de Nuits particularly hard hit; Vosne and Échezeaux were among the worst-affected communes. Survivors gave exceptional quality but tiny volumes; entry-level cuvées this vintage are scarce.
