Village-level Vosne-Romanée from Grivot, blended from several lieux-dits on the lower-mid Vosne slopes (Bossières is bottled separately). Clay-limestone soils. House protocol - full destemming, cold soak, indigenous yeast - then fourteen to eighteen months in oak with around 25-30% new wood. 2008 was a cold season rescued by a north wind and late September sun; Côte de Nuits villages typically show dark colour, pure red fruit, fresh acidity, and fine-grained tannin. Serious rather than generous. Should be in a fine drinking window now.
