Ratings
Somewhat closed on the nose but - surprise - more elegant than the Langhe. Red flowers, rosehip, and cherry. So much cherry. Then the serious stuff emerges: white pepper, cocoa, dark chocolate, leather, with touch of balsamic, licorice, and minerals.
More concentrated and complex than its little brother, but also more refined. Beautiful but charged with energy - classic young Serralunga tension. Very carefully made, showing real precision. This is Barolo doing what it does best: being powerful and graceful at the same time. Needs time, obviously, but already showing class.
This wine is beautiful, though still a bit on the young side. It offers a charming nose with notes of red berries, red flowers, tar, earth, and a subtle smokey touch. On the palate, it's tight and fresh, leading to a delicious finish with hints of ya'an cha. Complex and delightful, it holds promise for further development with time.
