Barolo Serra

Cherry, rose, earth, and a nose wound tight like a coiled spring. Properly perfumed. Loads of fruit but nothing overripe. Medicinal herbs everywhere. The palate is a controlled explosion. Powerful charge but so beautiful - lush and saturated with those medicinal notes weaving through everything. Oak integration is spot on. Long, persistent finish. This is Barolo flexing without being a brute about it.
