Despite its ambitions for complexity, this wine falls somewhat short, with its interesting elements appearing lacklustre and uncertain. The bouquet carries lemon, bread, hazelnut, shells, and honey, with a hint of mushrooms. It has good acidity and a straightforward taste with a robust structure and notable minerality. However, the finish is somewhat brief. Perhaps its subtlety is its downfall, lacking the potency or conviction to truly impress, or at least present what it has.
