I usually tend to avoid this wine - not really a fan of such intensely tropical noses. But damn, whether it was the vintage or just my mood, I absolutely loved it this time.
Yes, the nose is bold - orange, apricot, dried herbs, honey, acacia blossom, and even a hint of smoke (!). But on the palate, it's bright and fresh, with great acidity and a salty kick that makes it incredibly pleasant to drink. And it's light! Just endlessly quaffable. A total joy.
