Compared to the 2006, this one shows even more oxidation with prominent notes of fried nuts, honey, a Jerez-like quality, beeswax, and bruised apples. The wine boasts great acidity, retaining its liveliness and vigor. The finish is lovely, with a slightly bitter aftertaste that adds complexity. While it certainly has the potential to age further, now is an excellent time to enjoy its current expression.
