Tasting Notes
Perfumed but heavy - dried fruits dominate. The palate follows suit: weighty, inky, tannic, with green notes that feel unresolved. Struggles to find its footing.
About
Blend: 55% Alibernet (2023 vintage aged 15 months in old barrels, plus 2024), 25% Dunaj 2024, 20% Portugieser 2024. Proportions vary by release. Also available in 375ml and magnum formats.
Vineyards: various certified organic plots on calcium-rich clay loam, limestone, and marine sediments.
Hand-harvested, destemmed, fermented in open casks with regular gentle hand stirring. Each variety aged separately in old oak, then blended. Native yeast throughout. Gravity bottled under crown cap. Unfined, unfiltered, zero SO₂.
