Hannibal Ante Porta #11

Too young, and it shows - there's still raw grapiness fighting for attention. Give it air and it starts to unfold: walnuts, yellow stone fruit, buckwheat honey, dried herbs. The aroma isn't intense, but the palate finds good balance at adequate intensity. There's something slightly funky at the finish though - a hint of rot that feels out of place. Strange. But strange can be interesting.
