Chardonnay Marcus

Incredible Chardonnay with an interesting bouquet and complex mouthfeel. It all starts with pear marmalade, crushed apple seeds, and butter. Then it opens up more with Citro (so think about crème brûlée, citrus, cream and bakery), tilia honey and mushrooms. Multilayered palate with flavours of roasted sunflower seeds, chamomile tea and white fruits. Round with nice texture (9 months sur lie, after all). Long aftertaste with a salty finish. Neat.
