The wine features a generous bouquet, brimming with honey and baked pears, accented by chamomile. It's round and slightly off-dry, offering a straightforward yet delicious profile. The finish brings in a subtle mineral touch, enhancing its easy-going nature.
In a blind tasting, I guessed the grape and vintage, but it took me a while to figure out it was from Jura. My first thought was Burgundy. A bit heavy and viscous, it offers a bouquet full of camomile, honey, baked pears and canned pineapple. Not complex yet delicious, it feels like hot and sick air a moment before the storm.
