Hadn't touched this for two years, didn't particularly treasure having a bottle left. What a fool. This has transformed into absolutely brilliant orange wine. Stylish, intense, deep - proper combination of fruit, dried herbs, and just enough VA to keep things interesting. Light yet mineral, properly fresh without being heavy-handed, but with this quietly compelling character that can grind through complex food pairings (let's keep it clean, yeah?). The kind of wine that teaches you patience - ignored it for years, and it quietly became this stunner. Sometimes neglect works. Properly good stuff now.
Classic Matassa charm. Peach, white flowers, honey, apple, tangerine, quince come through. A touch of VA, adding a playful complexity. Well-balanced, fresh with a tannin that's there but not a grip-fest, doing wonders for the texture. A tasty affair.
