This wine is probably my least favorite from Matassa due to its opulence, which borders on vulgarity. While I appreciate that it goes beyond typical Muscat, it does feel a bit unsettling. It offers aromas of white flowers, dried herbs, tropical notes, nuts, wet wood, and dried apricot. It is fresh with a neat touch of VA and some minerality, yet the palate falls flat. It's a confusing wine with admirable qualities but also significant drawbacks.
