Barbaresco Tre Stelle

We tasted Rio Sordo and Tre Stelle blindly, and it was quite easy to guess the wines because Rio Sordo feels more masculine and Tre Stelle more feminine. Unfortunately, both bottles were not in ideal condition, which was a real bummer.

Tre Stelle was unexpectedly rough. The bouquet was a bit green with notes of mulberry, unripe cherry, forest floor, and spices. It's juicy and delicate but a bit flat on the finish---nothing close to the 2020 experience.
