Join to read it and the restThis Barbera d'Alba is produced from vineyards in Barbaresco and Neive. The grapes are hand-harvested and mechanically pressed. Fermentation and maceration, lasting around 15-20 days, occur in steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 12-15 months in large Slavonian and Swiss oak barrels. Bottling is done in the waning moon phase, with no filtrations or clarifications.
