Tasting Notes
Blind again, and recognised it almost instantly - that sesame-and-chalk fingerprint is unmistakable by now. Unripe melon, tart yellow plums, wild herbs, A whiff of pickled flowers. On the palate it's crisp and mineral with a flicker of lemon oil and a briny edge. Not deep, doesn't need to be. Fresh, slightly feral, oddly compelling.
My saviour after a crazy party with too much wine, beer, and whiskey. Stupid, I know. Not powerful, not shallow - just this perfect intensity that cuts through the fog. Pure fruit, pickled flowers, chalky texture, little natty touches that keep it interesting without being challenging. It's restorative in the best way.
Sesame, unripe melon, wild and sligthly bitter herbs, and tart yellow plums give this a fresh, slightly unruly character. There's a tang of pickled flowers and that oddly satisfying smell of a chalkboard just wiped down. On the palate, it's crisp and mineral, lightly chalky, with a flicker of lemon oil and a briny, pickle-like edge. Not especially deep, but it doesn't need to be - it's fresh, tasty, and a little wild-eyed.
Sesame, unripe melon, wild herbs, and tart yellow plums set the tone - fresh and a little unruly. There's something almost feral in the nose, like pickled flowers and a chalkboard just wiped down with a damp rag. Strange, but compelling. On the palate it's crisp, mineral, slightly chalky, with a flicker of lemon oil and not too much depth - but it doesn't need it. It's fresh, tasty, and a bit wild-eyed. Keeps you sniffing, wondering what it'll do next.
