Fun, but simple. Berries, bright fruit, good balance - lovely summer wine, really. Trouble is, I opened it right after that cracking sparkler and it completely vanished in comparison. My mistake for the sequencing. On its own terms though? Pretty pleasant, just not particularly memorable.

TBH, not a fan of still blanc de noirs, but this one works. Pretty good and not heavy at all despite the winemaker's usual style. Turns out this sees no oak and it speaks. Medium-light, fresh, bit creamy. Orchard fruits with touches of red berries and tropical notes. Lively, crisp acidity keeps everything vibrant and balanced. Need to taste it again to be sure, but promising stuff.
