Despite bottle variations, common traits persist in this wine. It showcases a funky bouquet with white flowers, bruised apples, dried herbs, and noticeable VA. The palate is racy, salty, and slightly tannic. The acidity is not that balanced, so the experience is not as round as I'd prefer. Nonetheless, it's a complex and appealing wine.
This wine was like a soothing balm for a weary soul, offering comfort and relief at the end of a tiring day. It's surprisingly easy to drink, despite its distinctive character. The blend of bruised apples, dried herbs, pear puree, and a hint of VA creates a compelling profile. The texture is pleasing, featuring a nice salty twist that adds an interesting dimension. Good acidity and tannin. It's both complex and delicious.
