A much better showing than my previous experience. Bright, expressive aromatics with a good dose of salinity and a touch of overoxidation---subtle voile-like notes, pickled apples. Sharp, salty acidity that's beautifully balanced and carries the wine with precision. Long finish. A seriously good bottle. A bit funky, briny, but well balanced and delicious.
Nice and mineral Muscat de Samos. Bitter herbs, salty pebbles, soaked tomato and raw cashews. Ah, and cider. Fresh, relatively funky and fun to drink.
Tasty Muscat de Samos for a good price. Jerez Fino, raw cashews, citrus, soaked tomato, and bitter herbs. The volatile profile makes all things elevated and more fun to drink. Lots of bitter herbs mixed with cider in the aftertaste. The latter is, unfortunately, rather short.
