Salty, mineral, oxidative. Delicious and complex, but Jesus, this is young. I'll admit it - this wine confused the hell out of me before. But this time? This time I get it. Still wound tight and crackling with electricity, but there's this oceanic beauty underneath that just floors me. It's like standing on a cliff during a storm - all that raw power and salt spray hitting you in waves. The wine needs time to calm down and show its full hand, but even in this clenched, electric state, it's speaking to me. Finally.

I was already behind the pace, so didn't have enough time to crack this wine. In short, I didn't enjoy it. It was not bad, it showed some complexity and intensity, but I found it empty. Some medicinal notes, anise and pear. And a subtle Jerez touch. The aftertaste is short and shy. I was not surprised when the bottle was revealed.
