Very reductive and closed - not ready yet, though there's clear complexity sitting underneath waiting for time. Nothing to argue with on structural pedigree; this 2024 is just locked up tight, not yet showing what it'll eventually be. Worth waiting on rather than judging now.
Palo Blanco is Envínate's flagship white from Los Realejos in Tenerife, 100% Listán Blanco grown on volcanic soils at 500-850 metres on the island's northern flank. Spontaneous fermentation in concrete with no temperature control or malolactic, then 12 months in oval foudres. The result is a low-alcohol (11.5-12%), Atlantic-leaning white - salty, mineral, wet-stone, with a herbal-floral lift and a long, controlled finish.
