After the first sniff and sip, I expected to see Canary Islands on the label. Not even close. The wine has a reductive and marine bouquet, combined with a super salty, mineral, and smoky palate, which led me to this assumption. There's nice yellow fruit and a hint of honey on the nose. On the palate, it's smooth, juicy, and quaffable despite rather medium acidity. It's not a simple wine and not for everyone, but it's a delicious, sophisticated and interesting skin-contact Verdelho.
