Chardonnay

The nose is quite muted - some pear, apple, a bit of bread and spice, but you really have to dig for each note. That said, the structure on the palate is excellent. It's immediately welcoming, with acidity and creaminess weaving together into a long, tasty finish. Hard to say what its ageing potential might be, but for now, it's friendly, approachable, and delicious. Just don't expect complexity or aromatic fireworks.
