The wine has a brilliant straw colour, ripe white fruit aromas stand out in the nose, Golden apple, conference pear, hints of butter and glances of citric, fennel and smoked aromas. Balanced in the mouth with texture, fresh acidity and a long, sustained finish. Capellanía is a quite demanding wine in its elaboration and further barrel ageing but it’s worthy for its amazing bottle development

Still in glorious shape - old-school, unfruity, and utterly compelling. Despite the evolved and oxidative profile, the body feels strikingly alive, almost defiant in its energy. Makes you wonder how long it can stay alive like this. Everything else? Same impressions as before - and that's a very good thing.
What an unforgettable first encounter with this legendary producer! The wine presents a beautifully developed nose, featuring aromas of wet cellar, wet wood (in a positively intriguing way), lemon curd, fried nuts, honey, bruised apples, gunpowder, and seashells. On the palate, it showcases great acidity and a hint of tannin, offering a round and pronounced profile while maintaining a delicate balance. A touch of bitterness adds an interesting twist to the finish, making this an absolutely captivating experience.
