Good stuff. Saturated, full-bodied, with decent acidity and proper development. Chocolate, dried berries, vanilla, coconut, jam, dust. Later come cigars, cheese, and a touch of cellar damp. Straightforward and powerful - classic old-school Rioja doing its thing without apology. Nothing subtle here, just beautiful concentration delivered with a sledgehammer.
