This wine is definitely a pleasant one. It's not particularly complex, but it possesses a charming and clean bouquet, with notes of rhubarb, kissel, cherry blossoms, red apples, and cherry bubblegum.
In my opinion, the wine could benefit from more acidity -- this is a situation where a bit of VA might have actually been a plus. However, it's incredibly easy and enjoyable to drink. The aftertaste is surprisingly long, culminating in a pleasant bubblegum finish that lingers delightfully.
It's the kind of wine that calls for a summer setting, perfect for sipping in the warmth and light of the season.
