Gorgeous. There's something indescribably hedonistic about savoring a single bottle of exquisite wine alone over several hours, watching as it evolves and reveals its depth. Though I'm not usually one for hypothetical and stupid choices, yet if I had to select a few wines to enjoy for the rest of my life, Rosso by Stella would certainly be among them.
This wine is a marvel, exuding both character and power while maintaining a delicate, feminine grace. The bouquet is charming, offering aromatics of red and black fruits, withered red flowers, briar, potpourri, leather, and coffee, with a subtle natty touch. On the palate, it's impeccably balanced and wonderfully quaffable, leading to a very long and flavorful finish with notes of coffee, tar, chocolate, sweet tobacco, and strawberry strews. There's something aristocratic about this wine, yet it's incredibly approachable. It's truly hard to resist. It's deep, sophisticated and utterly delicious.
Aged for 19 months in 3000l oak barrels.
