Light and slightly rebellious, this rosé hits best right out of the gate - when its fizzy bravado is still intact. It's like someone brewed a rosehip and wild strawberry tea and then tossed in a pinch of salt. And there's uzvar! There's spice too - plenty of it - and a bold, juicy energy that doesn't wait for permission. The residual sugar gives it both structure and roundness, leading to a long, delicious finish. Bright, approachable, but never dull - subtle salinity and spiciness keep it engaging. The kind of wine you drink in big, carefree gulps.
Lovely fizzy rosé. Notes of uzvar, Sicilian orange, ripe apricots, and sweet candy. Some VA and tannin on the palate create an interesting structure. Quite long, not overly complex, and decently balanced. Not sure if it's due to bottle variation, but I enjoyed this wine a bit less than before.
There is always this one guy that pours some alcohol to uzvar on a camping trip. Yet Tom Lubbe went ahead and has also introduced a slight fizziness. The bouquet features uzvar, Sicilian orange, apricot, herbs, and sweet candy. On the palate, it has a somewhat pickled, fizzy, and slightly tannic character. Initially, the aftertaste seemed short, yet the flavors prove to be persistently lingering. While not overly complex, the balance truly shines, making this wine a unique and enjoyable experience.
