Nadia brought this bottle herself, making it a great opportunity to explore Ruchè with different aging (i.e. compared to Teresa 2023 and Teresa la Grande 2021). Intensely aromatic and quite funky, yet surprisingly drinkable despite its initial structural aggressiveness.
With time and aeration, it evens out, becoming more seamless - the funk doesn't disappear, but instead, it starts adding complexity rather than distraction. The nose is packed with fruit, some of it slightly dried, alongside flowers, candy, fermented notes, leather, and earth. Incredibly juicy and full of energy. A fascinating wine.
