Cien Lanzas Cenicientos

Cien Lanzas is the 4 Monos village red from Cenicientos. In the range it sits between the regional GR-10 and the single-parcel wines. The vines grow between 830 and 960 m on sands of grey and pink granite, in a landscape of holm oak, juniper and wild rose. Bodeboca says the name, a hundred lances, evokes the village's coat of arms.

Sources disagree on the grapes. Bodeboca's ficha for the 2022 lists Garnacha, Cariñena and Garnacha Blanca without percentages, while Nos Vamos de Vinos calls the same vintage a Garnacha varietal. The US retailer Vinopolis gives Garnacha with around 5% Cariñena and Garnacha Blanca, from four parcels, for the 2020.

All the house's reds are made from foot-trodden whole bunches, per Nos Vamos de Vinos. It describes the 2022 as made in a concrete tank and a 4,000 l French oak vat, with malolactic in both, then aged two winters in a used 5,000 l foudre. Bodeboca gives the same vintage a shorter ageing, about 14 months in 500 l French barrels and foudres, and 6,350 bottles. For the 2020, Vinopolis has five months in vats and 500 l barrels followed by twelve months in a 4,800 l foudre, and 6,400 bottles.

The 2023 was bottled on 13 July 2025, close to two years after the harvest, in line with the two winters Nos Vamos de Vinos describes for the 2022.

Bodega Marañones, which farms in nearby San Martín de Valdeiglesias, describes 2023 as a mild autumn and an unusually mild, rainy winter, with budbreak in mid April, ahead of the usual cycle. Heavy rain in late May and early June cut the fruit set. Its harvest ran from 22 August to 8 September, and heavy rain in early September forced a short pause without affecting ripeness or quality.
