Marseille négoce of two cousins, Régis Tuccinardi and Sylvain Grosshans, founded 2017: seafood-labelled cuvées bottled where the grapes grow, and since 2023 partners in Clos de Somméré in the Mâconnais.
Régis & Sylvain is the brand of RS Wine Associates, a Marseille négoce founded at the end of 2017 by two cousins from the city: Régis Tuccinardi, who runs the business from a background in finance and shipping, and Sylvain Grosshans, the winemaker and cellar master. They chose not to buy a vineyard; the wines are vinified and bottled by growers in the regions where the grapes grow and then packaged in Marseille, at first out of the Le Carburateur incubator in the city's 15th arrondissement, the company being registered on rue Sainte, with a share of the bottles going to export. The early range was Loire Sauvignon and Saumur Chenin, Luberon rosé, Crémant de Bourgogne in Blanc de Blancs and Blanc de Noirs, Bourgogne Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and Beaujolais-Villages; the current labels carry painted seafood, the oyster of L'Huître (Melon de Bourgogne from the Muscadet zone), the scorpionfish of La Rascasse (Loire Sauvignon Blanc) and the prawn of Gambero (Crémant de Bourgogne), several of them signed as cuvées d'amitié with the Lyon caviste Antic Wine. From the 2023 vintage the cousins took the step into the vineyard, partnering with Hervé and Céline Santé's fifth-generation estate at La Roche-Vineuse in the Mâconnais under the name Clos de Somméré, whose label carries both names.
