This 21-year-old Monastrell is quite polarizing. The bouquet is intense, featuring aromas of overly ripe fruits, plum jam, dried dates, bakery spices, pine, balsamic notes, and toffee. While not overly complex, its high alcohol content (15% ABV) and relatively high sugar level (81 g/L) contrast with its low acidity. This makes it a challenging wine, yet a good pairing for desserts like brownies.
