100x100 Monastrell

I don't even know how to rate this - it's just not my style. Explosive fruit that should turn me off completely, but there's this beautiful spice rack and medicinal complexity underneath that I can't ignore. The berries aren't fresh; they're dried, almost withered. Powerful body, but the fruit stays clean and the acidity holds. Honestly? I was bracing for disaster. This is better than I anticipated, even if I won't be buying another bottle.
