A bit restrained and overall not very approachable. Could it be bottle variation? Perhaps. The nose offers notes of mould (which I actually love), curry, wet wood, and some dried yellow fruits. On the palate, it's a bit flat, with flavours of dried apricot, wet wood, and spices. The acidity is low, though the aftertaste is long and interesting. This had the potential to be a neat wine, but in the end, it falls flat. A real shame.
