The back-label lot code '04-10-23' reads as a 4 October 2023 disgorgement or release date, consistent with a 2021 base spending about two years sur lattes. The 2021 Penedès vintage was uneven - drought through spring, mild summer, September rain disrupting harvest - producing lighter-bodied, fruit-forward wines with a firm acidic spine, a profile that suits sparkling Pinot well. The result here is a brut rosé that trades opulence for cut and freshness.
