It could be a bottle variation, but it was meh. Not bad, yet not as good as I remember the previous vintage. Shy on the nose. Fermenting red berries, kimchi, dark chocolate, and earth. Slightly fizzy in an unpleasant way. Though that goes away after 30 minutes of decanting. Medium-light body, savoury, not simple, yet lacks in balance. It has a long aftertaste with flavours of ground pepper and spoiled strawberry.
