Cabernet Frank

There's a bit of bell pepper, but this is mostly about black berries and a touch of liquorice. The nose is pleasant - ripe fruit leads the way, though the alcohol does poke out a little. Vanilla and other sweet spices follow. On the palate, it's powerful but carries decent acidity. Very much a food wine - structured, bold, but with good fruit to keep it honest.
