That is the whole point of the wine: Radacini's Métier line exists to run the classic method through unconventional grape varieties, and a Bordeaux red turned into a white sparkling is about as far from the Champagne playbook as the idea goes. The name is the old French mestier, the craft.
It spends a minimum of eighteen months on its lees and comes out genuinely bone dry - 1.5 g/L of sugar, so brut nature with effectively nothing added back - at 12.5%. There is no vintage; it is a non-vintage cuvée.
The fruit is not pinned to one place. Radacini farms over a thousand hectares of its own vineyards spread across all three of Moldova's geographic indications, and works out of a winery at Cricova, so a wine like this draws on the whole holding rather than a single region.
