This wine presents an array of ripe yellow fruits, pineapple, and a distinctive note of seawater. Quite charming! However, the experience on the palate might not entirely align with expectations for a Chenin, as it comes across as overly warm and somewhat heavy, which detracts from the typically crisp and refreshing nature associated with these wines. The long aftertaste introduces a slight bitterness, intertwined with flavours of green apricot, yellow fruits, and a note reminiscent of canned pineapple juice, alongside a hint of grilled lemon. There is something "Nicolas Joly" about this wine, and I am not sure I like it.
