Calvert Pinot Noir

When I started my Pinot Noir quest I could not foresee that I will taste such a beautiful wine. The South Island of New Zealand is very interesting wine region. And Felton Road is one of the most important wineries out there. It is intense, yet elegant, not overwhelming. Overripef strawberry, dark cherry, earthy notes and subtle hints of autumn underbrush. Delicate palate, smooth and flavourful wine with long and interesting evolution.

A natural wine that is known for its qualities and not for philosophy. This Pinot Noir is clear despite being unfined and unfiltered.
