Chardonnay Grand Cru (2023)

The domaine's grand cru Chardonnay assemblage - the back label frames it as the creation of a symbiosis between multiple expressions around a single grape. A merchant tech sheet for the previous release (base 2022) lists the components as the Le Mesnil-sur-Oger lieux-dits Malo and Coullemets together with Les Petites Vignes in Puisieulx, raised on the lees in 228 and 400 litre barrels for 11 months without fining or filtration, with a dosage of 2 g/L.

This release is built on the 2023 base harvest with reserve wines, released extra brut - bottled 29 July 2024 and disgorged 8 April 2026, per the back label, about 20 months after bottling. 3903 bottles, lot CHGC23r13.
