Cote Grand Cru is the flagship of Domaine les Monts Fournois's Crus Selectionnes range - the parallel negociant project the Bérêche family runs while their own Ludes monopole vines mature. The cuvee is sometimes also marketed as "Cote Chouilly Grand Cru 53 mois de cave": 100% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru village of Chouilly on the Cote des Blancs, base 2019, 53 months on lees, disgorged November 2024, dosage 5.6 g/L (Extra Brut). Finished and disgorged in the domaine's cellar in Ludes.
The internal d2024-11 code is barberry's cataloguing convention for sparkling cuvees where the disgorgement date is the disambiguator. The actual bottle prints the disgorgement and ageing in the producer's own format.
