Montebuono

Concentrated bouquet of chocolate, earth, dark fruits, gouache, and oak. On the palate, it's merciless and unprincipled. The cutthroat tannins dropped the water level in my body to zero point five percent. There's some juiciness, but the dryness of the tannins made the tasting experience a challenge, yet not without rewards. I hope this wine just needs a decade or more in the cellar. The finish offers a neat combination of dog rose and ya'an cha.
